| This property in Basingstoke had recently been externally rendered in a concrete and sharp sand mix. Having been left for several months to ‘go-off’ fully, the client required a whitewash to further protect and extend the lifespan of the render. Under a tight budgetary constraint, the property was first given a mist coat, allowing the paint to penetrate all nooks, crannies and pinholes in the render, followed by two full coats – all in Sandtex masonry paint. Whilst completing the project, it was noted that the fascia board was in need of some attention. The fascia board was rubbed down and given two coatings of Sadolin external wood protection.
